Sam & Maddie's Bar & Restaurant

The Barn, which is home to the Sam & Maddie's Restaurant, was built in 1914 by the Pengilly family. Don Quinn purchased the 250 Acre Pengilly farm in 1964. The first order of business was conversion of the 35 by 122 foot barn into the restaurant and lounge. The Don Q Inn was sold to the Stadlers 2004. The restaurant and lounge remain one of the most unique attractions in Southwestern Wisconsin, and feature many charming artifacts that contribute to its singularity.

Sam & Maddie's Bar & Restaurant is a  family environment. Experience the warmth of our dining room with its log cabin feel and large fire place. At Sam & Maddies every occasion is a celebration. We welcome you to a comfortable family dinner, an intimate dinner for two, or to meet a group of friends in our bar.

Meeting & Banquet Rooms

We also accept reservations for groups up to 60 people. At Sam & Maddie's you will find atmosphere and food choices are both casual. The staff can help you plan your next meeting or banquet with a variety of options, equipment, and of course, the acclaimed menu items.
